And lips to catch my teardrops when I cry
'Cause all I've found in being free are circles I can run
That have no hidden places I can hide

If I could gather all the moments that were wasted
And turn each one into a ruby red
I'd buy back all the time it takes to make a dream come true
And stay a little longer in your bed

There was something hidden underneath the corner of your pillow
Tiny lines of love I should have read
And all the time it takes for love to grow a weepin' willow
I never understood the things it said

If love were like the pages of a story
Who's favourite parts could always be re-read
I'd find your laughter in between the covers of the dawn
And stay a little longer in your bed
