Always great to revisit this excellent website! Was looking for the lyrics to an old Nat 'King' Cole song titled "I Keep Goin' Back To Joe's." Sure enough, I was able to find it here.

Very useful site, especially in supplying songs in non-English languages.
How can I submit changes or additions such as a missing verse or artist? I gather you don't want a lot of minor copyediting.

Thanks for doing all the work - I was looking for songs my Dad used to sing me, and found qhite a few lyrics to make a photo book for my Mom! <bowing> I thought it would be a consolation to both of us.

Thanks so very much for posting "People Like You and Me" by the Glen Miller Orchestra. It is the de facto patriotic song of people stateside during WW2. The lyrics tell it all. :)

not sure of title, but I think I first heard this gospel (male quartet) song on a tape my grandmother gave me. I think the groups name was First Class, and maybe from Dallas.
Some of the lyrics are as follows:
"brother, you ain't got nothin' at all
you never were known to pay you tithes you never were heard to pray, whenever the preacher comes around you throw your pipe away.........."
I'd like to find all the lyrics, any suggestions?

i thank you for printing the lyrics of Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day, because if i could dance with Walk The Line actor, Joaquin Phoenix, "Tomorrow would, indeed, be my dancing day".
Please be so kind as to supply a list of any cd, comprising the song.

In fact, it's really a great site. However including a big error about Girl I've Got News For You.
Bill Haley y Sus Cometas never recorded this song which was entitled (... For Hugh).

Nice site, but there are a LOT of errors in some of the lyrics - does anyone check them for veracity before publishing?
A little more care is required.
-ILP Thursday, July 30, 2009 09:44 AM
1) Yes, we try to check them.
2) There is usually more than one version
3) If you are so familiar with a lyric to notice the mistake then why are you here?
4) I don't see you offering to help correct them either.
