Wonderful site, but . . .
Don't you know that people HATE those blinking ads!
ILP Team Friday, December 7, 2007 04:23 PM
Sorry. We dislike them as much as anyone, believe me, but the bills have to get paid. The ad network assures me that once inventory gets exposed to more clients we will have the ability to select sponsors with a bit of discretion.
Please bear with us as we get this all sorted out. Thanks!

Was great to find the lyric of "Managaua Nicarafgua is a beautiful place" Artfully sarcastic. Managua is one of the worst places in the world and the authors of the song knew it.
Cheers

Further to previous...all I did was put the words "Song+Overhead the moon is beaming" and bingo there was the song in seconds. My wife was delighted.
Thanks again.

Thank you very much to the people who have created this site. I've been searching for nearly four years for music and lyrics to "She's the girl that makes the thing...that's going to win the war". For some bizarre reason I'd never previously thought of typing the words I had into my search engine but this action brought me straight to this excellent site. Now all I need to do is find the sheet music for it....

I took an elderly couple out this morning and we sang old tunes all the way home in the car. Stuff from before I was born ! They/we could only remember half the words to Any Umbrellas and I promised them that I would try to find them..... THANK YOU so much for helping me to do this...
I will print them off and we will be singing ALL the words next time.. they will be so chuffed.

I'm so glad I found this site. I am 78 and although I remember the lyrics of many songs of my younger days it is great to be able to fill in the blanks. Does anybody know the lyrics to "Pink Police Gazette"?

Thanks again for making me smile. Part of a lyric popped into my head (Put on a happy face) and I wanted to know the rest, you came up trumps again.

I previously criticized you guys because on the "Submit Lyrics" page, you state "corrected lyrics will not be accepted". You wrote back and said that corrected lyrics could be submitted if they could be substantiated. Well, the lyrics for "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" were filled with errors. So, I submitted new lyrics and you posted them! The system works! Thanks for being open-minded and helping make this a great site for all of us.
