CRAZY PEOPLE
(Edgar Leslie / James V. Monaco)
The Boswell Sisters 1932
The 3 sisters, Martha, Connee & Helvetia (Vet), were known for their very
intricate harmonies in vocal jazz. Some refer to this as 'swing' jazz.
They were affectionately known as 'The Bozzies' by their enthusiastic fans.

Crazy people, crazy people
Crazy people like me, go crazy over people like you
Goofy people, daffy people
Daffy people like me, go crazy over things you do.
When we are under the moon
The moon above
You got me actin' just like a loony
It must be love, sweet love
Crazy people, crazy people
Crazy people like me, go crazy over people like you, bah!...
(Sisters hum)
Crazy people like people like you.
(Sisters hum)
Crazy people like the things you do.
When we are under the moon, the moon above
You got me actin' just like a loon
It must be love.
(Sisters hum)
Crazy people, like people, like you.
‘Cause love birds of a feather
Always flock together
It's an old, old custom of the heart
That keeps folks, from driftin' apart
Now that's the reason maybe, that I call you baby
We're each other’s counterpart.
(Sisters hum)
Crazy people
Crazy people
Crazy people
Crazy people
Crazy people like me, go crazy over people like you.
Goofy people
Goofy people
Daffy people
Daffy people
Daffy people like me, go crazy over things you do.
Don't mind if I rave a lot, sweet angel child
It´s just a habit I've got, you drive me wild.
Crazy people
Crazy people
Daffy people
Daffy people
Daffy people like me go crazy over people like you.
(Sisters hum)
