CROONING
(William F. Caesar / Al. Dubin, Herbert Weise, 1921)
Everynight beneath the love moon
Sweet heart, when we steal away
All we do is croon a love tune
When you're in love there's never much to say:
While our hearts are sweetly blending in such perfect harmony
let there never be an ending to love's own little dreamy melody:
We're crooning, just crooning, the night time away
Planning and dreaming, day after day,
Just hoping that sometime we'll both harmonize
In our own little love nest, crooning lullabies.
