I've had a taste of the exciting life
And I can't settle down any more.
I can't live as I did just before
I had a taste of the exciting life.

I've had my fling at the exciting life
And I find I respond to its thrills.
I like all of the tiniest chills
That go with living the exciting life.

And strange as it may be
For a girl like me,
All my dreams and ideals are gone.
Although I have been blind
To a life of this kind,
It's the way I must live from now on.

I've had my taste of the exciting life
And I'm ready again for the fall.
Who it's with doesn't matter at all,
As long as I can live the inviting exciting life!
