THE GIRL ON THE LITTLE BLUE PLATE



There's a little blue kitchen with a little blue shelf
Just above a little Dutch grate.
There's a plate on the shelf in the little blue kitchen
And a girl on the little blue plate.

There's a little Dutch fellow who's in love with the girl
And the girl loves her little Dutch mate.
And the boy's never blue in the little blue kitchen
With the girl on the little blue plate.

They really look adorable, a loving pair they make.
It would be so deplorable if they should ever break.

There's a little blue kettle and it's singing a song,
As it sits on the little Dutch grate.
It's a song of romance for the little Dutch fellow
And the Girl on the little blue plate.
