Blues on my mind, blues all around my head,
Blues on my mind and blues all around my head,
I dreamed last night that the man that I love was dead.
I went to the graveyard, fell down on my knees,
I went to the graveyard, fell down on my knees,
And I asked the grave digger to give me back my real good man please!
The grave digger looked me in the eye,
The grave digger looked me in the eye,
Said, "I'm sorry lady, But your man has said his last goodbye".
I wrung my hands and I wanted to scream,
I wrung my hands and I wanted to scream,
But when I woke up I found it was only a dream!
