Gee, I feel so blue, far away my thoughts do wander
To spots in Cupid's loveland, then I sit and ponder
Of all the pretty faces that have smiled on me
And oh, if but the lovelight in their eyes I could but see

Strangely now it seems, Cupid's dart it does some missing
From the girlie sweet there is no kissing
At times I feel so sad, just a smile would make me glad
I feel so blue to think of you alone

There's a brunette too, one with eyes of blue, girls like you are very few
That one looks petite, this one smiles so sweet, and for you what would I do
