Pétales de roses et moustaches de chatons
Bonnes mitaines et bon feu qui brille 
Beau cahier quadrillé cheveux mouillés 
C'est là un peu de mes joies quotidiennes 

Gros mille feuilles tarte aux pommes fraîches 
Grand bol de crème dont on se pourlèche 
Belle oie sauvage qui s'envole dans la plaine
C'est là un peu de mes joies quotidiennes

Gaie robe claire coiffures en nattes 
Doux flocons blancs sur mon nez écarlate 
Les fleurs d'avril en bouquets qui reviennent

Quand le chien mord quand l'abeille pique 
Quand ça marche mal 
C'est simple je pense à mes joies quotidiennes 
Et tout alors va très bien

Crisp apple strudels
Door bells and sleigh bells
And schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with
The moon on their wings

Girls in white dresses 
With blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on 
My nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters 
That melt into Springs
These are a few of 
My favorite things 

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember 
My favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad.
