I always knew that he was different from me
Now that we're splittin' up it's easier to see
I cry alone and find it hard to face the dawn
To him it's just a nine date world and life moves on

Now there's somebody sleepin' on my side of the bed

He hasn't even called to ask me what I need
He just cut me, now he's left me here to bleed
It's like a bad dream when you wake from a fall
Sometimes I wonder if he loved me at all
