ONE GRAIN OF SAND
(Crewe / Brown / Bloodworth (m & l) 1967)
Kitty Kallen 1967
Tell you what is real and what is true
This is how I'd feel if I lost you
So alone, on my own.
Just like one grain of sand, just like one grain of sand
Who’d ever find me, like drifting in time I would be
Without you.
Every road I walk leads me to you
Which way would I turn if we were through
So alone, on my own.
Just like one grain of sand, just like one grain of sand
To know you, to no one
You know I’d go under the sea
Without you.
Ohhh..make me strong too, just belong too
You know it would be so wrong
To love me for a day then leave me
I need you, oh please believe me.
(bridge)
To know you, to no one
You know I’d go under the sea
Without you.
(Chorus)
Just like one grain of sand, underneath the sea..
Just like one grain of sand, underneath the sea..
(fade)
