One day while strolling through the park,
I heard a lovers' conversation;
They didn't say, "I love you, dear!",
All they did is whisper in each other's ear;
They said "Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh",
They said "Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee".
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
They said "Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee".
"Shoo-be-doo-bee" means that I love you,
"Ooh", that means I love you too.
When I passed by I could hear them say,
"We'd better hurry and name the day!
Because ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee".
"Shoo-be-doo-bee" means that I love you,
"Ooh", that means I love you too.
When I passed by I could hear them say,
"We'd better hurry and name the day!
Because ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee, ooh, ooh,
Ooh-shoo-be-doo-bee,
Shoo-be-doo-bee means I love you!".
