SUMMER'S END

Summer's end,
The leaves are falling from the trees,
Birds have flown, my love has gone.
Summer's end,
I'm left with tender memories
Of the night we danced till dawn.
Was it Summer madness or the magic of the moon?
Was it real, this love of ours, that ended all too soon?
In my heart a glowing ember will remain,
As I sigh at Summer's end.
