Merry Go Run Around
Race and Spot were found by Moneybags, fighting in an alley.
She forced them apart and stood between them.
"What're you two fightin' about dis time?"
"He said dat you was his goil." Said Race, pointing at Spot.
Moneybags looked at Spot. "An' how do ya figger dat?"
Spot glared at Race as he answered,
"Ya never answered me when I asked you'se, said ya needed time."
She shook her head. "No, dat's not true and you know it."
Race gave a triumphant smile.
"Da Brooklyn boy's not gettin' what he wants now."
Spot lunged at Race, Moneybags was able to get out of the way in time.
She decided she wasn't going to get anywhere so she just sat and watched the two boys.
They finally stopped and looked at her.
"Yer not gonna stop us?" asked Race.
She shook her head. "If you wanna act like monkeys, I'm not stoppin' ya."
The two stood and dusted themselves off.
"I just wanna know one thing," said Spot, "which one is yer one an' only?"
Moneybags looked at each boy as if she were pondering the question.
She finally went up to Race and hugged him tight. "I choose Race."
Spot stood there with his mouth open. "How couldja pick him?"
Race smirked. 'Cause I'm her guy Genius."
Merry-Go-Run-Around
By:
You won't say yes
And you won't say no
You let my poor heart pound
But you smile at me
And around I go
On the merry-go-run-around
You build me up
'Til the sky seems low
Then flop
I hit the ground
But you hold my hand
And around I go
On the merry-go-run-around
When a friend says to me
Where the heck are you bound
What the duce can I say
Just around and around and around
You won't say leave
And you won't say whoa
I've tried to get unwound
But you kiss me once
And around I go
On the merry-go-run-around
Oh you won't say yes
And you won't say no
You let my poor heart pound
But you smile at me
And around I go
On the merry-go-run-around
You build me up
'Til the sky seems low
Then flop
I hit the ground
But you hold my hand
And around I go
On the merry-go-run-around
You won't say leave
And you won't say whoa
I've tried to get unwound
But you kiss me once
And around I go
On the merry-go-run-around
I won't say yes
and I won't say no
I let your poor hearts pound
But you smile at me
And around I go
On the merry-go-run-around
(both Bing & Bob sing)
You build us up
'Til the sky seems low
Then flop
We hit the ground
But you hold our hand
And around we go
On the merry-go-run-around
(all three sing)
When a friend says to me
Where the heck are you bound
What the duce can I say
Just around and around and around
You won't say leave
And you won't say whoa
So I've tried to get unwound
But you kiss me once
And around I go
On the merry-go-run-around
