THE SEAGULLS
(Les Mouettes)
Soeur Sourire (The Singing Nun)
Jeanine Deckers (Belgium)
The seagulls, two by two
Are going in a row
To take a dip
In the blue, blue sea
Mister Gull is fishing for eel
And missus Gull is roasting
In the noontime sun
Grandpa Gull on tip toes
Feet in the water and pants upturned
relives his younger years.
Jean-Francois and Jean-Oouis
are riding their amphibian boat
And shout their joy at the top of their lungs
On His balcony in the skies
God leans down and smiles
At the happiness of His children

LES MOUETTES
(The Seagulls)
Soeur Sourire (The Singing Nun)
Jeanine Deckers (Belgium)
Les mouettes, deux par deux
S'en vont à la gueu leu, leu,
Faire trempette dans
La mer bleu, bleu, bleu
Monsieur Pêche des anguilles
Et Madame se rôtit
Dans le soleil de midi
Grand Papa haut retrousse
Pieds dans l'eau et pans relevés
A rejoint ses jeunes années
Jean-François et Jean-Louis
Embarqués sur l'amphibie
Clament leur joie à grands cris
Au balcon du firmament
Dieu se penche en souriant
Sur la joie de ses enfants
