Thinkin’ about the Warbash
My muddy old buddy the Warbash
Thinking’ about that river
A-rollin’ along in the moonlight
Thinking’, thinking’ about the Warbash
We used to dream for hours
Those hazy old, lazy old hours
Every day was Sunday
And Sunday ran right into Monday
Homesick, thinkin’ about the Warbash
I miss little boy named Andy
His kisses were like sugar candy
And I even miss my brother
Who used to peek and then tell Mother
When he’s all through paradin’
We’d take off our shoes and go wadin’;
Wadin’ right in that river
A-rollin’ along in the moonlight
Thinking’, thinking’ about the Warbash
