THOSE DAYS ARE OVER
(Andrew B. Sterling, Edward P. Moran / Harry Von Tilzer, 1922)
Let's take a look in memry's book back to the days of yore
Back to the school old swimmin' pool wel'll just be kids once more
Let's wander back where we used to sit and dram
Down by the old mill stream
Let's climb the hill down by the mill pile on the old bob sled
Coasting we'll go roll in the snow until our cheeks grow red
Oh for the days of the olden golden pas
They were too good to last.
Where are the days of long ago?
Those days are over those days are over all over
Where is the barefoot bashful beau? the one who wrote "I love you so"
Oh! Sweet childhood days so dear to you and me
Sweet wildwood ways are just a memory
Gee! but it makes me sad some how
Those days are over over now.
