Lovers learn through the years
There are two kinds of tears,
For both joy and sorrow make the sweetheart cry;

And a heart full of fears
Fills with two kinds of tears,
With the joy of love or sorrow of goodbye.

I cried the night we parted, and then
Came the tears when I held you close again!

When the sunshine appears,
Every cloud disappears,
And a heart can cry with two kinds of tears.
