What's a poor gal gonna do with a man of steel?
One who has been wired for sound, and ain't got no sex appeal?
What's a poor gal gonna do with a mechanical man?
One who is neither Democrat nor Republican?

Gals nowadays are energetic, athletic, and poetic,
Without a chance of ruination,
What will be their inspiration?
Lordy, hear me while I pray,
Please don't take the men away;
If they leave this world, I'm asking you,
