DO YOU LOVE OLD SANTA CLAUS
(Eden)
Diana Decker - 1954
Do you love old Santa Claus
(Yes, yes, yes, we do)
Do I love old Santa Claus
Yes, yes, yes, I do
Do I love old Santa Claus
Yes, yes, yes, I do
He's the man with the long, white beard
And the big red coat and sack
He brings things in the dead of night
Down the chimney stack
Do I love old Santa Claus
You must love him too
Do I love old Santa Claus
Yes, yes, yes, I do
(Do you love old Santa Claus)
Yes, yes, yes, I do
A nice old man comes to our house
At the same time every year
He drops in so quietly
That you never seem to hear
(Do-do-do you love old Santa Claus)
Yes, indeed I do
(Do you love old Santa Claus)
Yes, yes, yes, I do
(He's the man with the long, white beard
And the big red coat and sack)
He brings things in the dead of night
Down the chimney stack
(Do you love old Santa Claus
Tell me, Oh please do)
Yes, I love old Santa Claus
Yes, Indeed I do
SPOKEN (Diana provides bioth voices):
SANTA: Well, well, hello Diana.
DIANA: Oh, my goodness, it's Mister Santa Claus.
Hello, this is a surprise.
SANTA: Yes, I just thought I'd drop in to see how everything's
going on, you know. Tell me, have all the children been good?
DIANA: Oh yes, Mister Santa Claus. I'm sure they have.
SANTA: Well, do you know anyone you'ld like me to bring a
present to this year?
DIANA: Oh well, let me see. Well I know a little boy and he'd
like a rocking horse, if that's all right, Santa.
SANTA: Oh, yes, yes, of course, I'll bring it for him.
DIANA: Oh thank you Mister Santa Claus. Thank you very much.
Do you love old Santa Claus
(Yes, yes, yes, we do)
Do you love old Santa Claus
(Yes, yes, yes, we do)
WHISPERED:
Who's the man with the long white beard
And the big red coat and sack
He brings things in the dead of night
Down the chimney stack
Do you love old Santa Claus
Tell me, Oh please do
(Do we love old Santa Claus
Yes, yes, yes, we do)
Do we love old Santa Claus
Yes, yes, yes, we do
