Though Christmas is the time of year to be happy and gay
Many hearts will be sad this Christmas Day
For loved ones who are far away across the deep blue sea
Loved ones who belong to you and me

Let’s go to church this Christmas, get on our knees and pray 
For God too protect us and the good old U.S.A.
Let’s do our part with all our hearts this Christmas next year
No empty chair will sadden Christmas cheer
